Taita Hills

Taita Hills, also known as the Taita Hills Range, refers to a cluster of hills located in southeastern Kenya. The hills are part of the Eastern Arc Mountains, which stretch across Kenya and Tanzania and are known for their high biodiversity and unique ecosystems.

The Taita Hills are situated in Taita-Taveta County, near the border with Tanzania. The range consists of a series of steep, forested hills that rise abruptly from the surrounding plains. The highest peak in the Taita Hills is Vuria, which reaches an elevation of approximately 2,228 meters (7,310 feet) above sea level.
