Overview
Fly up to the Northern point of Kenya and explore Lamu’s beautiful unspoiled sun dune beaches, mangroves, and islands. Visit the historic Lamu town, and admire beautiful Swahili architecture on both Shela and Manda islands.Â
The packages include roundtrip flights from Malindi, all meals, airport transfers and tours and activities based on double room sharing. Drinks are not included.
Itinerary
Day 1
Fly from Malindi to Lamu (40 mins flight)
Boat transfer to your hotel where you will not see any cars or roads for the duration of your trip.
Enjoy a nice lunch on Shela Beach.Visit Lamu Town and do a walking tour of the historic town. Enjoy sundowners and dinner on a floating restaurant.
Day 2
Sunrise Yoga on the beach or swim (optional)
Swahili breakfast
Island hopping boat trip through the mangroves
Visit Lamu Museum and ruins. Lunch on Manda Island under the shade of baobab trees. Afternoon dhow trip with Swahili snacks as you sail into the sunset. Dinner at Peponi
Day 3
After breakfast do some shopping in Lamu town. Lunch at a restaurant nestled in the dunes. Boat transfer to airport for flight back to Malindi.
