Tsavo East refers to Tsavo East National Park, which is one of the largest and oldest national parks in Kenya. It is located in the southeastern part of the country, covering an area of about 11,747 square kilometers (4,536 square miles). Tsavo East National Park is part of the larger Tsavo Conservation Area, which also includes Tsavo West National Park.
Tsavo East National Park is known for its diverse wildlife, rugged landscapes, and iconic red soil. It is home to a wide range of animal species, including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and numerous bird species. The park is particularly famous for its large herds of elephants, making it one of the best places in Kenya to observe these majestic creatures.

Depart at 5 a.m. from your accommodation with a packed breakfast towards Tsavo East National Park.
Along the way, we will admire suggestive landscapes and observe the local community's daily way of life.
After 2.5 hours we will be arriving at the entrance of the park, called Sala Gate. While paying our park fees, you can watch crocodiles on the banks of the famous Galana River.
At 8 a.m. we will enter the park for the first game drive till 11 a.m.
Lunch and relaxation in the lodge or camp chosen by you.
Both are located near a pool of water where animals come to drink.
Afternoon game drive and return to Watamu while enjoying sunset.
